An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bar Manager to join The Arts and Culture Service.

The Point, Eastleigh and The Berry Theatre are looking for a dynamic Bar Manager to run the bar service across its venues and activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has outstanding bar / barista knowledge and expertise, and would like to apply these to a diverse arts and theatre setting.

The ideal candidate will have lots of enthusiasm, great customer care and an eye for detail in order to run our bars efficiently and effectively. The role will manage staff and design the customer offer across two arts venues, ensuring that visitors have a great experience when they visit us.

This role is required to work at The Point, Eastleigh and The Berry Theatre in Hedge End as well as occasional external festival locations across Eastleigh Borough.

Hours will involve a changing shift pattern to service our Theatre programmes and will be predominantly evening and weekends.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Duty Manager to join The Arts and Culture Service.

The Point, Eastleigh and The Berry Theatre are looking for an experienced, creative individual to manage their busy evening operations. As Duty Manager you will be passionate about creating excellent customer service for our visitors and will be responsible for the day to day operations of the theatres, box office and bar service.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and time management skills and a proven track record of duty management in a public facing venue. The role will oversee the wellbeing and customer care of visitors and audiences and supervise the theatres' Sales Officers and bar staff.

The ability to liaise with other teams such as Programming and Technical is essential as well as being a confident port of call for visiting companies, producers and artists.

This role is required to work at The Point, Eastleigh and The Berry Theatre in Hedge End as well as occasional external festival locations across Eastleigh Borough.

Freelance Practitioners

We are now looking for dynamic freelance practitioners to work across The Point and The Berry Theatre.

We are committed to connecting young people and the community to exceptional arts experiences in our local borough and beyond. We are a National Portfolio Arts Council England Organisation and are owned and managed by Eastleigh Borough Council.

We are looking to extend our pool of facilitators for both ad-hoc projects and weekly sessions, including our Youth Theatre and wider education and accessible arts programme.
