Our theatre auditorium offers flexible, retractable seating, fixed balcony seating and two seated galleries, allowing a flat floor space for cabaret style seating, or tiered theatre seating.

Stage area: maximum width of 8m, maximum depth of 10m, excluding wings, with a maximum working height of 5.5m.

Accessible and versatile
With our proximity to Eastleigh, Southampton, Winchester and Portsmouth, our building and facilities make an ideal conference facility.
Our Foyer and Bar space can be hired with the auditorium or separately and provide an ideal space for intimate performances, celebrations, formal receptions and more.
A range of state-of-the-art digital audio-visual equipment and professional digital theatre lighting and sound can be used to meet your needs when using the theatre.

Due to the limited backstage capacity at The Berry Theatre, you may wish to enquire about hiring extra space at our neighbouring venue, The Dart for your event, especially for performances with a large cast.

Hire rates (From 1/1/24)
Daily hire (11 hours) from £950
Weekly hire (12pm first day to 12am seventh day) from £5100
Conference hire from £450
Please note, these hire rates will take effect from 1 January 2024 and are updated annually. Rates are not inclusive of VAT. A charge of 2% per payment by credit card will be passed on to hirers to contribute to credit card fees.
A non refundable deposit is confirmed at time of booking.
